Knife recommendation?

Finally, not sure how much of a clip point you want .... lots of makers have swedges. For example:

If that's an option, check out Loveless-style Chutes, etc.

It was a very unexpected gift from a member here several years ago at the Blade Show.
It's very understated, and elegant. Timeless looking, and well balanced (visually). I think that is very difficult to achieve.
Super Cool knife.

David Mary David Mary makes a model called the Marten Scout, it's a Bowie profile with about a 4" blade. I'm sure he can sharpen the clip for you.

He also makes a model called the Skinny Fat Bowie which already comes with a zero-ground sharpened clip.

He has more info on his forum.

Thanks for the shout out gooeytek gooeytek . Aside from hollow grind, any of my models can be ground however the customer wishes. And I should add the Scouts are just a little over 3 1/4" in blade length (I mistyped when I texted you yesterday and said 3.5").

I've been looking for something fairly specific but don't even know where to start, maybe some of you know what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction? Assuming this would have to be custom as I've never seen a production knife like this.

Fairly simple concept: Bowie style knife with a sharpened clip and minimal guard... only with a very short blade, like between 3"-5"... anyone ever see anything like that?

Thanks.
David Mary, John Cahoon, Bill Siegel, CPE Knives, BGM Knives, they all make what you want in a knife. Real tools that will last two lifetimes if treated with minimal love.
