Knife Recommendation

I would go for the Spyderco Paramilitary serrated. :thumbup: The knife will cut almost everything, stays sharp for a long time and has more than enough plain edge for detailed cutting. You can't beat the superstrong compression lock either.

Furthermore I would advise you to buy a Spyderco sharpmaker as well.

I also recommend a benchmade and yes a 710 as well as the paramilitary. Ask your husband whether or not he likes thumbholes or thumbstuds. That he could answer easy enough and will let you know right away where to go.
