Ok I'm wondering what all you experienced knife guys have for a knife oriented New Years resolution?
** * *I'll start out, as a fairly new knife guy my resolution is to try to make *smart purchases instead of impulse buying. In the year and a half or so I've really gotten into knives I've bought around 50 knives. Out of those 50 I probably really like 15-20 of them. I'd like to change that ratio for the better!*
** * * * * *I need to find out what really trips my trigger as far as likes and dislikes of knives. We all have styles that we like and dislike.**I dislike what I would call "art knives" *knives I could never see using but would put in a glass case to admire them. My likes aren't so well defined yet.
** * * Tell me your resolutions!

Mike

Make more balisong!

To not strop the BK-11 san mai on my buddy's Rios custom boot heel again.

Not buy so many custom knives. Already eyeing one today. Trying to justify buying it to myself.

My resolution is to buy less low priced knives and buy more customs or mid-techs.

My resolution is to finally improve my sharpening skills and to use them more, rotating EDC more often.

I'm gonna try to buy only one, maybe two knives this year. Really wanting to stick to only one but if the deal of a life time comes along I'm not gonna make any promises.

To stop testing my edges on arms n legs ever since I got a Billy strop from stropman 18 months ago there is nary a hair.

1. Sell all the knives I don't use
2. Stop buying knives I won't use
3. Stop carrying 4 knifes every day just because I have pants that will accommodate it. :D

Buy a couple more higher-end knives and try to sell the ones I don't use.
