Just as an after thought. Does anyone have experiance with the braun self cleaning electrics?

Uncle Bill might but I don't know which model he's got.

My experience with the Braun was negative, didn't like it even after trying to shave with it for two weeks. Should've gotten a Norelco then. :grumpy:
It's going in our yard sale this spring.
