Has anyone handled a knife from Knife Research? What did you have and what did you think? I am thinking about a Knife Research Legion and can't seem to find a review.

Thanks

From what I understand, is that the Legion is nearly the same thing as the Lionsteel M7, Knife Research is also made by Lionsteel.

I own the M7 and it's a great knife. Assuming the heat treat on their Sleipner is the same between Lionsteel/Knife Research, you're looking at a great knife! I've used the M7 quite a bit as a chopper, and I'm really impressed.

I've been looking hard at the KR Enki, Vanadis 4E is great stuff, but I'm looking forward to see their R.Evo with V4E @ 65 HRc:eek:!!! Not sure when it's coming out, but I'm excited.

I know this probably wasn't the most informative response, but based on my experience with the M7, I think you'd be satisfied with something from KR:thumbup:

Thank you. The M7 is also on my list. I think the difference is the M7 has the forward finger choil. Same blade thickness.

Yes, the M7 has the choil, and no fuller. The M7 also has an "integral" one-piece handle made from a 1" thick piece of micarta; that's what sold me over the Legion:D
