Knife Reviews Outtakes(Pic Heavy)

Really nice photography.

I really envy your ability to make feather sticks by the way-- I'm practicing though :)

BTD,

Great pics. Peru must have been a blast!

Peru was a lot of fun and a lot of learning.

Great pics Bear. Remind me where you got that orange handled knife. I've seen it before. Looks handy.
Its a PSKKII from Breeden knives with a 4" blade of 01.

Thanks there is a trick to it, buy knives with built in feather stick makers. Really if I can find those pics I will show you some real feather sticks done by Bryan Breeden, his are the real thing.

Superman hat makes me laugh, because I go around screaming " I am Beowulf " to aggervate the family......but know after seeing the Ironman movie, well ya'know...I am Iron man is my new catchy answer to things now.....

I used to play that on drums when I was 15. The rest of the band were older but I got my crash course in sabbath then.

we have those up north too. they only get the size of kiwis in the north country though, we call them wild cucumber, not sure if thats what they really are but thats how their known. They grow on vines and can be a terrible nusance (I mean the green fruit pictured by the OP)

Great pics man. Looks like those tramontias are pretty sweet for the incredible price tag.
Might have to pick a couple up.

Bear,

Have you experimented with any other ways of attaching a Tram to a backpack, I'm thinking that a 12" Tram is a great addition to a bag...

Nice pics! Nice knives! Nice lady! Nice cat tracks too!

You never fail to impress!

I usually have a sheath to carry it in, but once I get to camp it stays out and gets used then put against a tree blade facing towards the tree, for safety. When I used to hike with a machete on less traveled trails I would take the ONT or TRAM 12" in a light kydex stuffed in the side of my pack. If you have a pack with lots of bells and whistles (pockets, straps) then you can usually stuff it in there. Here is a simple kydex that Leatherface made me for transport carry and another for belt carry. You can't see the difference in this pic but the 12" trams are different.

Thanks wow. About the kitty tracks.....here is a short story about a long night.

In that same place out in the backcountry known for its lions we were camping off the, the brush was thick, the night was near. We made camp before it got dark. As we were talking about some "real things", reality came in the form of a grawl. She heard someone walking on the gravel like dirt of the trail. It was dark and any hiker out at that time 8 miles out would have a light. We saw no light and the sound got louder then stoped right near a bush. It wasn't a person. I got out of the tarp and stood up and started coughing loud and talkin. We never heard it scurry away but we stayed up in the tarp talking till the early morning hours. When we woke we saw lion tracks 4 feet from our tarp on the trail. This was a great event and only proves the theory that these things we fear in the night are not really after us. This made her scarred but releaved that they don't really want to eat us up.

Close to trail where the lion passed us in our sleep.
