Knife Rights - WE DID IT!

I don't know about you guys. But I get a little depressed when I think about the fact that we actually NEED knife rights groups... I mean, we live in a world that's so devoid of common sense it disgusts me. And the politicians are right there every step of the way, looking to criminalize normal people living their lives. :(

good to know. I'm glad i had around 300 people send in the forms along with myself and don't have to live totaly in fear of my gov't. still keep'n my knives, guns & money...

I don't really disagree with your sentiment but the fact is that there will always be people willing to sacrifice other people's rights in exchange for the illusion of safety. Even in a perfect world where gun and knife laws had no restrictions on our rights nobody anywhere was stabbing or shooting other people, organizations like Kniferights and the NRA would still need to exist to continue fighting for our freedoms.

No, don't think of it that way. Think of it as govenment by other means.

Nations develop political systems, with bureaucratic governments run by partisan representatives. We get to vote for these representatives at different times, generally years apart.

So we also develop informal associations, from political clubs to think tanks to advocacy groups which allow interested people to influence our governments constantly.

These are unofficial but influential pressure groups that inform the rest of the public, and our representatives, of what we see as the best way to organize the way we live.

Of course, the more successful a pressure grouip is, the easier it finds access the next time. This battle with Customs, difficult and expensive as it was, has brought together people who can self-organize even faster in the future.

Way to go
I'm going to get my daughter one of those teddy bears that I see on the site.

I got letters from two of my reps not long ago that they had pushed "our way". Nice to see this come through!

Woohoo! Great news and big ups to all who wrote in and took action!

Stand up and take a bow......

Yup, got me 2 letters from Rep Devin Nunes (R) in Clovis/Fresno, CA saying he'll help. I'll show them to future kids one day.
