Knife scale modiication

I recently purchased a PKS Kephart knife, the knife, over all is a pretty nice knife. My one major problem with this knife is the handle scales are way to thick for my liking. So I am looking for recommendations on where I might find the best place to have either have new scales put on or the current scales modified ?

Post some pics up of the knife. You'd be amazed what you can do with various grits of quality sandpaper (Rhinowet) and some time.
