Knife search heartbreak

It just hit me that I may never be able to buy one of my top folders of all time anymore, the ZT0301ST. Have not been able to find the serrated version with steel lockbar insert anywhere. Maybe ZT doesn't produce it but I have experienced true knife heartbreak after many years of collecting.

Might be worth an "In Stock?" phone call or email...

I searched a while and this was the only site that happened to have an active 'Add to Cart' link. No mention of stock levels though. :|

*Edit: Can't tell if it has the steel lockbar insert from the photo.

First thing to do is to find out if ZT even made such a model. Then you can have heartbreak. I don't think heart break can occur over something that does not exist. I mean, I'd love a lightsaber but I am not heartbroken that they don't exist.
 
the ZT0301ST was produced, though Im not sure they ever made one with the steel insert. Those were added to the last production year for the 300 series....and I think the 301 got the axe just before that feature was added.

I think I'm a little heart-broken about the non-existence of lightsabers...
 
Well, one option that might be possible is to get an 0301 and give the factory a call and ask if they do the $30 blade swap to a serrated one? Or have serrations added?
