Just an idea for the mods/admin:

How about an on-site database that would have several pieces of data about every knife out there, such as:

- Maker
- Model
- Blade length
- Blade type
- Blade steel
- Blae thickness
- Handle type
- Opening method(s)
- Average price

Etc...
