It is a Microtech automatic...appears to be a semi-serrated drop point or trailing point blade. In one scene, the Microtech logo is very evident.

Overall it's a fairly interesting film, not great, but with some good plot twists in it.

THE KNIFE WAS NOT USED AS A WEAPON THE WHOLE TIME!!! I am so happy!!

it was found in a tool-box, and not once even looked at as a weapon. it was used once to cut off a restraint and as a tool 3 times.

I was just afraid it would back up people's fears of an automatic knife, but the only weapons used in the movie were guns and bottles.

Such a funny quote, true or not.

BTW: I liked the movie and I especially liked the gunfights because of how cheesey and entertaining they were. Don't look at this movie as a realistic view of anything.

It also had some good twists that and none of them were very tough to follow. This movie is totally spelled out, just like every American movie (nothing is implicit). You could still get everything out of this movie if you were totally drunk of your @$$.

Good enough to see once.

I didn't want to spoil it, but yes, the knife is a good-guy knife. In other words, it's used more than once as a life-saving tool, not as a life-taking weapon, which just might help give knives a bit better rep (wishful thinking?)

Okay, I'll admit it, I mainly saw the movie because it looked like the type that would have some kind of knife in it.
