Knife sharpeners

I don't condone fraud in the slightest; I hear of people's pictures getting ripped off all the time on Instagram so I imagine the problem above exists there too... :thumbdn::grumpy: It's a good thing my pictures are too crappy to be worthwhile to rip off LOL. :foot::rolleyes:

The one positive as others have mentioned is that these guys won't go very far IMHO without the skills to back up the stolen pictures of "their" handiwork.

Basically, but hopefully we can prevent someone from getting ripped by just educating em to do their homework on the service provider before sending off their knives. If it were me sending to a unfamiliar provider I'd request pix of their work with their service name (if they have one) and date and time in the pix. Obviously past costumers knives wouldn't be available to do that, but chances are they should have personal knives they've worked on.

wow....just...wow. It's a shame people are doing this. It took diligent work to get my edges hair shaving sharp and mirror polished. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to watermark my own images with something.

Keep calling them out. Maybe we all should...

I agree, anything we can do to put a stop to thieves, liars and scammers is worth it IMHO.

I haven't seen any examples of pic theft yet but I'll definitely call em out if I come across any...

This is an issue I've seen over and over. Mostly in for sale adds on Craigslist. One of the reasons I don't post many pics. Watermarking is something we should all do to keep the pirating to a minimum.
