I bought a Hinderer Fatty XM-18 3.5". Spanto blade.
It came with a really dull, very shallow grind edge. For reasons I've never understood, I've NEVER been able to put a decent edge on it. I can just get it sharp enough to cut stiff paper. Poorly.
So I figured it's time to bite the bullet, and have someone who has way better equipment than I do put a really good edge on it. Once it HAS a good edge, I should be able to maintain it. That's my plan, anyway.
Can someone here recommend a good sharpening service? One that you have personally used? I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest service. Or the most expensive. I just want a good job at a decent price.
Many thanks!
