Knife Sharping Wa State

Hey all i am looking for someone in WA state that knows how to sharpen knives i have no clue how and don't want to damage my knives trying. A service would be fine or maybe someone who can teach me would be better can only learn so much from YouTube lol.

There is a lot of advice under the Maintenance, Tinkering, & Embellishment sub-forum regarding knife sharpening.
 
Which part of Washington State? East or west of the Cascades? I used to live near Spokaloo, but not any more.
 
Albert at Seattle's Edge is legendary. He may very well be the best anywhere. He will use different methods for different knives and steel.
 
Research the Spyderco Sharpmaker, it didn't take long at all from being a sharpening noob, to "good to go" for me. By the way, I am a former WA resident, Belfair/Gig Harbor/Tacoma. My job took me all over Western Washington, I know Oly pretty well.
