Hello fellow knife aficionados,
Last night I placed an order to Sportsmnasguide, including one of those little Swedish Mora knives. This morning I had an email, stating that shipping was restricted to Colorado for that knife. I called them and the story I got was their lawyers had decided any knife over 3.5 inches in blade length could not be shipped to Colorado to protect the Sportsmansguide from lawsuits, as Colorado lists the 3.5" blade length as their legal definition of a potentially deadly weapon. I have ordered and received ammo from the Guide in the past, yet they are today refusing to ship me a $9 knife with a 3 7/8" blade.
Is anyone else experiencing this kind of thing? Here is the email I received:

Thank you for your recent order 30523154 with us at The Guide. Unfortunately, the following items are restricted to your billing zip code, therefore we can not ship these items to you:
- NEW SWEDE MORA KNIFE
We have not billed your charge card for any restricted items. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
