Knife shops near LA?

Hey folks, I'll be TDY at Edwards AFB next week and was wondering if there were any "must see" knife shops around the area. My Google fu doesn't reveal anything much. Input?

Definitely check out Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa.

Yeah, General Knife Discussion is reserved for talking about the knives themselves, while anything about dealers, companies' customer service, and so forth goes in Feedback.

And I third the nomination for Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa.

Ditto re: Plaza Cultery. If you are not that far south, Martin Retting used to have a decent inventory of customs. They don't emphasize customs as much now, but do sell production knives. They are primarily a gun shop. 11029 Washington Blvd in Culver City. L.A. Tactical Supplies/L.A. Guns sells some customs and productions. 9028 W Sunset Blvd # 307, West Hollywood.

You will be almost dirrectly east of Solvang, you could go to Nordic knives. the drive along PCH is beautiful this time of year.
