Knife Similar to the Fox Dart Karambit?

Hello!

I have always wanted a Fox Dart Karambit, but due to the price and lack of decent warranty, I never got one. I would pay the price if the warranty was awesome, like Buck's. Are there any knives out there that would be a good alternative? I like the retention ring and the straight blade; basically I want a Karambit with a straight blade instead of curved so it can be useful for tasks other than self defense. I tried the Browning Vanquish, but it was just too awkward to use and didn't seem like it would last very long. Any help will be much appreciated!
 
IIRC There is a maker on here named Matt Bailey (Baileyknives) who makes what he calls a "Ringtail" fixed blade. From memory it's a drop point blade with a ring reminiscent of that of a kerambit. I haven't seen one in a little while but if you look in the knife makers' area of the exchange it shouldn't take you long to find a thread.

Hardcore Hardware Australia also make something similar, as does ZU Bladeworks (another Aussie maker), but I think those might be a bit more dagger-like.
