Post here about knives you've identified on people you've seen that were total strangers.
I've seen some threads on this but it was based upon TV.
Let's make it harder and make it real life only.

Today-SOG Twitch 2 clipped to a janitor's pocket
A while ago-Kershaw shallot on a guy in restaurant
Kershaw Chill on a guy that was at a party i was delivering an Ice Sculpture to.

I always look for pocket clips, but rarely see one, and if I do, it's usually some unidentifiable junk. Occasionally I'll see someone carrying a cheap kershaw or a griptilian or a delica, but other than that, folks in my neck of the woods seem fairly content with their walmart junk.

Saw a Griptillian bowling the other day.
Went to a local shooting range and saw a Hinderer. Asked the guy about it. Turned out he was a knife nut also.
Saw a Sebbie on a guy at a shooting store one day.

A guy I went hunting with was carrying a Gerber Bear Grylls folder.
A few weeks ago I saw a truck driver at church with his Sog folder clipped on the outside of his pocket .
I have seen some various people with Kershaws clipped in their pockets. I cannot remember off the top of my head what kind they were.
The only bonus is a few people at my work have Smith and Wesson folders ect. Although one of them carries a Kershaw Random Task 2 and a Spyderco Tenacious, that I sold them.

Last Sunday I drove down to pick my son up from college for the holiday break. Noticed a knife clip on the pocket of a ratty old pair of sweatpants he was wearing. Was surprised to see it was an old SOG Twitch II I bought him for Christmas several years back.

Nice.

I saw a guy with a hockey mask holding an Ontario machete.

Seriously, I saw a cop with a Spydy Para 1 or 2. (I couldnt see the size of the lanyard hole). He used it to cut some netting that a turtle got tangled up in. Nice guy.

Unklfranco

God, my town must be full of knife nuts!
This sunday at church, preacher had a Buck Vantage Pro
A friend carries a Smith and Wesson extraction
Saw a janitor at my school with a Kershaw Blur
Does seeing a countycomm widgy prybar laying in a seat in a parking lot count?

Some I've seen carried by people at work... Vic Tinker, German Eye Brand Sodbuster, SOG Aegis, S&W M&P, Spyderco Delica4, Camillus serpentine w/ wood handles (clip blade, wharncliffe blade, awl), and a Vic Classic. Couple of multi-tools as well - Leatherman Wave and SOG Powerlock.

Guy herding customers in the line at a burger joint had some sort of Benchmade. I didn't recognize it though. Parkerized standard clip, black handles, set for tip-down carry. The others I've seen recently, I didn't recognize.

Benchmade Presidio at the grocery store today, silver split arrow clip, tip up, right rear pocket. What I'm guessing was a compact, double stack semi-auto IWB at 3:30 with one or two spare mags at 5.

Recently some kid at the local skatepark was carrying the new Spyderco Brad Southard. A while ago I saw a guy at my GF's graduation from UCSC that had a sebenza.

I like his Fenix TK12. Nice lights, I have two, one has been my EDc for a couple of years now.

A guy I used to work with carried a kershaw every day, said he had it for years, and it was very well used.
Another guy at the same workplace was a knife nut as well :D I've seen him carry just about every knife there is.

The Bartender at my local watering hole always had a Mall Ninja style china craptastic kinda knife on him for years until one night I traded him for the Para 2 in my pocket. Was not the best Idea but I got sick of him fumbling with the crappy knife he had to open beer cases with. It was the only para 2 I had at the time and I was starting to feel no pain if you know what I mean at the point I made the trade. It seemed like good Idea... Now when I see him ill ask him hows the knife and I get a free drink out of it. One of the Steam fitters on a Job site I was on had a custom Mini grip he got from his local for 20 years in the union. The knife I see the most of are good ol Buck 110s in the leather belt pouch. They are popular here in western PA, I think I was issued my first Buck 110 from my mom when I was 12 and started to hunt.

I was at a bonfire this summer and I saw a shiny pocket clip in my friend's pocket. I didn't really know him too well back then but I reached for the knife anyways and drew it out of his pocket and flipped it open. We had a little conversation about what we were carrying that day and we've been pretty tight since then. Other than that incident I've spotted a spyderco endura and a couple gerbers on random people, saw a buck 112 on my friends dad, and a sog flash 2 on the guy who works at the local marine hardware store.

Back when I took a college public speaking class a guy did an informative speech on fraternities. When he was done I asked him if he was carrying a Buck Rush because of the name--he gave me a confused stare until I told him I meant his pocket knife and he told me his girlfriend got it for him. Funny how he had no idea of the ironic name. :D

I knife-spot all the time. The last fellow I saw carrying had a Benchmade 960.
