Knife storage and display

That is awesome Georgecati. I love that idea. I'm going to start looking for something similar to refinish. Thanks for the pics!!

I love the old chests which can be found reasonably priced. Just need a little elbow grease and patience.
These Gerstner chests are still made, in fact Scott Campbell (direct desendant in Gerstner family) attended and showed at Blade.
He has come up with a unique system to compartmentalize the drawers for knife storage. I have his kit, but have not found the time yet to install.
Here is a photo from Gerstner's website. I think this will work well for folders.
