My knife collection is not very big right now, but it is growing. I was wondering what you guys use to store them in. I didn't save any of the boxes because I bought them to use, not collect but I'm getting to the point where I have so many that I rotate what I carry and need to store the rest. I think I saw a product on here at one point that looked like a long piece of canvas or felt with pockets for knives all the way down it. You just put a knife in each pocket and rolled it up. Does anyone have a link to this? What else is good that will protect them from unnecessary harm and still make them easy to access when I want to rotate to a different carry knife?

I'm mostly concerned about folders the size of a Benchmade Griptilian or Kershaw Blur or a bit smaller. I only have one fixed blade and it lives in my bug out bag. I do plan to buy one more for hunting and hiking, but I can keep it on a shelf in my gun safe so this question is mainly concerning folding pocket knives.

A Bait Box from wally world for under $20. It has dividers so you can store
pretty much any size knife in it. It has 4 drawers. I have about 35 blades
stored in mine...........and I need another one. :D

I believe you are thinking of a knife roll. I have used a small roll for when I travel. I keep mine in a tool box that I lined with felt.

I use a large tool bag with several zipper pockets and many smaller pockets for my folders of every size. The bag also stores my fixed blades. My active knives in rotation are kept on a shelf (about six to eight) and are rotated every two weeks like clock-work.

I use a rifle case. I can fit a whole bunch in there, it has foam inserts so they won't get scratched, and it locks so the kids can't accidentally find them. Plus it slides nice right under the bed.

i want to make on for my spydercos that would be a piece of wood maybe 1.5' long and about 1" tall. then i'd put 1" or 1.5" long dowel rods spaced evenly along the 1.5' board. i then want to secure the board to my wall so i have a little display for them and so i can choose which i want to carry.

I have 3 50 caliber ammo boxes i bought for 10-15 bucks each..they have a really tight closing mech, that keep my kids out...between the 3 of them i have about 80-90 knives..really secure way and keeps moisture out as well...hope that helps

I keep mine in a similar way to Parker77, only in pistol cases, both single and 2 gun cases. I get them from Gander and they are made by Pelican. They have that great egg crate shaped foam so they don't move around.

J/K....... crkt makes the biggest knife roll i think it will hold 60.........

Interesting... it looks identical to a Spyderpac. I'm thinking neither CRKT or Spyderco are making those and are just paying to have their logo slapped on them.

Mine are in a box under my bed. The only one that's given me any problems is a CRKT M16-13Z. I cut an orange with one, rinsed it off and continued to carry it. Two days later rust had started! I'd heard these knives rust, but had never experienced it. Mine's an AUS6, but I've never had a Cold Steel rust on me. A polished blade won't rust as quickly as one of these matte finishes, but still, I was surprised to see the AUS6 rust that fast. Why didn't CRKT just make it out of carbon steel?

So dry your knives off before throwing them in your box, drawer, whatever.
