For being the largest city in the USA, you would think they would have better selections. I lived there for several years and the best place I ever found was Shoot Straight, a awesome firearms store, However they are limited to mostly Benchmade knives. What part of Jax are you headed to? Downtown, The Beaches?
Also there used to be a knife store in the Orange Park mall, "Outlander knife" I think. Not sure if they are still there or not, but again not much of a selection, prices retail.

Gander Mountain has a store on the north side just off I-95. Brand name knives only but if you are an outdoorsman its a cool place to kill some time.:thumbup:
