Hi, as you can see from my username, I'm from Canada and I was wondering if anybody knows of stores in Canada, Ontario particularly, that sell knives like the ones that are so commonly mentioned, (zt, Kershaw, spyderco, etc.). I'm sick of buying on amazon.

The largest one with the best selection is Warriors and Wonders but they are located way out here on the West coast so being able to handle them would be out of the question but they are great do deal with online. Highly recommended

S&R have a lot to hold and check out. Most brands imagined, including those you mentioned. Also, here in Belleville Ontario, High Falls Outfitters has a good selection, with more being added routinely. Where in Ontario are you?

Forest City Surplus in London has a few Ka-Bars, but.... Best to drive to S&R to hold the knives you're looking for, then barter with them in person. It worked for me with my PM2. Good luck!

General Knife Discussion is for discussing knives
Feedback GBU is for discussing where to buy them.

Moving...

I have dealt with both S&R Knives and warriors and wonders and both have been excellent. True north knives also has a Canadian store so you don't get nailed with customs

Thanks all for your help. And I'm near Stratford Ontario, but if you don't know where that is London Ontario is close enough.

London also has Reliks, they can be pricey but have lots of oddball stuff. They're good to deal with and I picked up a couple swords from them.

There's also these three but I haven't dealt with any of em:

Gorilla Surplus
Dragon Impact
Hero Outdoors

Reliks is good! My buddy got a sword from them and they were very quick and helpful with ordering and shipping. I deal almost exclusively with Warriors & Wonders because they're just one province over and have been super easy and friendly to deal with, and usually have excellent stock selection.

As most people have already mentioned, you really have only two viable options:

S&R and Warriors and Wonders.

I know it's a bit of a drive, but since you're in Ontario, S&R is your one and only option if you want to try before you buy.
That's not a bad thing, as Rodney and the guys have at least 3-500 of the most popular production folders and fixed blades on display and ready to handle.

They are also very patient, and will not rush you, not in any of my visits.
Be warned, you will not leave without buying something(s)!
