knife stores near Blacksburg, VA

Hey guys I've been a longtime lurker (even before I made this account) and this is my first post.

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to any good knife stores near Blacksburg, VA. I know bladeforums loves New Graham Knives over in Bluefield but thats 1 to 1.5 hours away and with the price of gas today I would almost be better off just having the knife shipped to me.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum but since I'm not talking about any knives themselves I thought this would be the place.

Wish I could help, I get alot of good advice on here and purchase online. It works well for me.

New Graham Knives is down there somewhere right? Not sure how close it is to you. There are in Bluefield.
 
It's been 10 years since I graduated but when I was there no stores except the local deparment stores sold knives. I ordered mine through the Cutlery Shoppe's mail catalog and bought them at gunshows. Oh yeah, there you go, there used to be a gunshow at Salem and another one in Roanoke, bought knives there.
 
Jingo, any chance you're going to Virginia Tech?

send me a email if ya are...maybe we can make a trip to New Graham sometime
 
Yep I just got my BS actually and I will be attending Va Tech as a graduate student. A trip to New Graham would be great but I have to make some money first haha.

I don't know of any good stores in Blacksburg but you can check out the local gunshows. Both the Roanoke and Salem shows normally have a respectable amount of knives.
 
Your gas money is well worth the drive up from Blacksburg to Bluefield.

The selection is amazing.

You will play for hours...:D

Small bub good selection at Roanoke Antique mall in back of store, Chics antiques in Floyd upstairs, and Grannys, Stuart VA.
