My Xmas shopping is done. Now I’d like to buy myself a folder treat for @ $200. Manual or Auto is good , I like both. But no flippers. I like bigger knives. Closed length no smaller than 4,5”.

Suggestions?

How about Benchmade Adamas
I was just looking at the Adamas Automatic. Strange how BM is discontinuing a ton of their knives. They said it’s to make room for a bunch of new products coming next year but who knows. Anyway , I like the Adamas.

Right now the Shaman DLC and Native Chief are my top picks. Maybe the Hogue EX-A01 automatic. But I don’t know much about Hogue. I’m still looking.

I’ll make my decision by tomorrow morning so that it’ll arrive before Xmas.

I like the looks of the Kershaw Launch 6 but I’ve read a couple times that it has lockup issues.

I would look at some spydercos
PM2 s110v or Gayle Bradley 2 are very interesting option for less than $200

however if you want something more exotic maybe WE knife would be my pick

I have the automatic version. If you like beefy, full sized folders it's
a nice model to consider

You could pick up a Police 4 in K390 while they are still available. Amazing steel in a design that carries like a smaller knife.

The AD-10 looks like a nice beast of a knife. And the Manix2 DLC is a classic blacked out edc. I want them both.

The Manix XL is a very good choice, I carry mine often. When I read your post it was the model that sprang to mind. Only reason I didn't mention it, is others beat me to it.

It's extremely comfortable and hand filling for me (XL-XXL glove). 3mm thick full flat ground blade cuts very well. No play in any direction after years of use. Very solid choice.

YMMV, but I find the DLC model to be extremely corrosion resistant. Everything is coated, not just the blade. I've managed to get rusty liners on some knives carrying them in the summer, so I appreciate those little details like coated hardware and liners.
