I like your styleBuck 110.
Not a flipper, nor "assisted opening".
Closed length is 5 inches.
You can carry tip up or down in the included belt sheath.
You can add a stud or bar for one hand opening.
You won't feel its megar 7.4 ounces on your belt.
If you want S30V and/or a different handle material, (several choices are available) the Buck Custom shop can build you what you want from the available options.
If you want CPM154, SK Blades has a couple SFO's
For 51600 there is Copper and Clad's SFO's.
All Buck knives have an unbeatable forever warranty, and their customer support is second to none.
All will cost well under your $200 limit, so you can get a couple large pizza and a 12 pack of your favorite adult beverage, and probably have enough for some gas in your car/pickup/minivan/SUV/motorcycle, or scooter/moped, if you choose to do so.
The AD10 is well finished, smooth and definitely a beast. Anything larger than XL hands and the grip length gets a little snug but not bad. The grip is superb. The best Cold Steel I’ve handled. The AD-10 looks like a nice beast of a knife. And the Manix2 DLC is a classic blacked out edc. I want them both.
I just don’t like flippers. Hate the tab. But I like coated bladesNo flipper because you can't have one? Or you want an alternative? My Freeman 451 folder opens fine with the thumb groove/dent/hole/recess. If you don't own one, you (arguably) should. I suppose you could grind the flipper tab off; but the blade's coated.
That looks cool. Is that the exact same profile as 940? It seems the handle are thicker than regular 940 from the pic, is that true? That Knifeworks exclusive Benchmade Contego in M390 steel is $140.
Same blade shape but a much bigger knife. Longer, wider. Carries remarkably well for a big knifeThat looks cool. Is that the exact same profile as 940? It seems the handle are thicker than regular 940 from the pic, is that true?
After holiday shopping, I am getting a shy pocket, but this is really appealing...
I bought one 2 weeks ago. I'm really happy with it. Very cool RUGGED spydercoSpyderco Shaman
