Knife suggestions

No. The mini covert is the small cheap one. What's wrong with the bigger knife. The construction and materials seem reasonable and it's available for under $1oo?

Plastic handle, No Name steel. Gerber also has become a low end company since being sold to Fiskars. I would personally never buy any gerber product.

Does anyone have any experience with the emerson cqc11, cqc8, and super cqc7 wave? If so, what did you like/dislike. How was the locking liners? For some reason emerson knives intigue me but reports of faulghty locks and poor craftmanship has turned me off. Please share your opinions, I'm sure they'll help.

Also, where's a good online store for emersons?

Have you checked out the Benchmade 520 Presidio?

It's my favorite Axis-lock folder.

I've only looked at various Emersons when I had some money (all liner lock models). Never owned one. Enough said.

Id say check out the griptillian. It wont max out your budget, i use it as an all purpose knife. There are other more expensive ones but I really stand by my griptillian.

I'll add some:
Microtech L-UDT (automatic, side opening)
MOD Tempest
MOD Small Tactical Folder
Lonewolf T1, T2
SOG Spec-Elite
Kershaw Leek (SS) or G10 Leek
