I don't think the kandahar was actually used /seen in the movie? Bruce Willis' character uses the PUK to stab one rebel in the neck during one night scene.
 
Look closely and you will see that the radio operator has an Emerson Lagriffe hanging from his LBE shoulder strap.
 
i was really disappointed in TOTS, i didnt like it at all, and really thought i would.

I kinda liked TOTS, it has something special, but there's a little bit to much heroism!!!
Besides that, the fighting scenes rock!!! :D
 
I like TOTS. Half the seal team got chopped up (which is reality, when facing an entire platoon of rebels), and it reflects a little of the situation in Sierra Leone (blood diamond trade), Ivory Coast and now, Liberia. The fact that a woman who looks like Monica Belucci can work in a war-torn country w/o getting raped, molested, kidnapped or killed prior to the extraction is Hollywood. Reality is brutal - for eg. in the kidnapping of tourists by the Abu Sayaf from Sipadan Island off Borneo a couple of years ago, one of the tourists got raped. And the various governments actually paid the ransom for the release of the hostages.
