Knife Testing /Hiking Trip-SIEGLE KNIFE

Really Nice knife, Nice pics too,

Great incentive to get out there and have some fun with my toys

Tactical knives did this elk bone test with a blade from Valiant a while ago (a barong I think) and the blade took some serious damage, it was repairable but shows the differnce quality materials make.

Interesting, did you see similar edge retention/strength?

-Cliff

Similar to ????. I only have owned this one Martindale. The experience did not lead me to buy another.

I have tried it out a couple of times on Scots Pine and White Ash. What I learned is that the edge is still too obtuse.

I agree----EMS.Both quality material and a MASTER knifemaker!!!

I have shown this Hoodlum 2 to knife lovers and people who knew nothing at all about knives---all could see the quality in Bill's work.

It cuts great!!!!(not good,not very good)----GREAT>1!!

Bill just finished a Boar Killing knife I'm taking on a boar hunting trip(where we will be using knives -not guns to kill the boar)

if you want to see it-let me know.send me your e-mail and I'll e-mail you a photo..

Dr. Bill,

Mighty fine pics, reviews, and links.

Question for you, it that your hammock? If so, have you ever tried this "Hennessy Hammock"?

http://hennessyhammock.com/

I beginning to look around to see which hammocks work well. Thanks

Travis

Travis, I own one of the hennesey hammocks and when on a trip where my wife is not with I will be using it. It is wonderful to sleep in, sets up in a snap and packs down small. ONly negative would be of you tend to closterfobic. I reccommend these to anyone I know that does hiking and weight is an issue.
