Quality locks are way too hard for hacksaws, like a good hardened chains are too. I've cut through a quality chef's knife with a silicon carbide hacksaw, and while it worked and the saw didn't wear out, it was slow and very hard work. A lock or chain can be many times as thick, and a regular saw blade wont really even catch on the material.spyder8 said:btw WUT ABOUT A HACKSAW BLADE after reading this i am going to add one of thos to my key ring
