Recommendation? Knife to match new watch - Seiko SBDC051

Hello everybody,

I got new watch that will be my main piece to wear during both work days and weekends. Its the Seiko SBDC051 on steel bracelet.

And my question is simple, do you know about a folding knife that would nicely suit the watch and together they would make nice edc kombo?

Thanks for any suggestions :)

Can we get a price range you might be looking for? That would certainly help narrow things down.

Off the top of my head though ZT450. One of the versions with carbon fibre front scale. The CF version has green standoffs that sorr of match the watch glow features.

Or Benchmade 940-1 which is the cf version. Or how about the 940-2 which also has the green standoffs.

Kizer Feist is a favourite EDC of mine. The texture of its titanium body would match the watch well.

One thing I will add is that if you have the desire you should get a glow in the dark backspacer for whatever knife you pick, to match the glow inserts on the watch face.

Since Seiko is used at most competitive events like the Olympics, and since most millionaires favorite watch is a Seiko, I say a Spyderco ATR (At The Ready) would be a perfect complement to your watch.

What is your thought on autos?
Protech Newport with CF inlay. Go with the stonewashed blade.

Wow, thanks for so much input. I have red it all, and some pieces are great.

I should specified it more before. I like lighter (under 100grams) titanium/carbon frame flipper/thumbhole, and the price under 250bucks woudl be nice. So the ZT0450 would be naturally first choice, but I dont know. I think that the tactical design of the knife doest work for knife this size, the 0452CF is better, but then its bigger and heavier that I would like to have every day in my pocket.

That idea with glowing backspacer rocks, I love it :D watch glows like crazy and that would be nice detail to have. Thanks!

Dunno, never had any auto, I think that the aditional complexity is not worth it. But the one you posted, is nice.

BUCK 040 Onset, titanium and Damasteel riding on bearings.

Hello,

thank everyone for help. So it ended like this:

Japanese watch with traditional japanese pocket knife.

BUT

alought Higonokami is nice lightweight option with style and traditon, it lacks refinement, ergonomy and sturdiness. So I decided, heck I bought ma halfway grail watch, why not to buy according grail knife. So I thought that I settled on Inkosi - insingo blade.

BUT

To my surprise, I found knifemakers at my country, make custom knives for better price than Inkosi. So without hesitation, I made some quick desing into work and contacted the knife maker. I hope that early next year I can show you the result. Thanks everybody :)

If you’re only desk diving with that samurai, I’d go with something also classy in black and silver, like a carbon fibre inlay Sebenza.
I was gonna say just that a mini grip with awt scales for example blacked out...
