Hey, I have a small knife collection that I would like to expand. So here's my proposition, as ridiculous as it may seem.

As an experiment, I want to be your knife dumpster. Any knives you want to get rid of but don't want to sell, send them to me. I don't want to buy anything, I just want to be a knife graveyard.

Maybe this won't turn into anything, or maybe it'll be the coolest experiment in the history of Blade Forums. Who knows. PM me if you've got something.

Thanks guys!

This doesn't belong in the exchange forum, as you don't want to trade or buy.

Experiment? Did I miss something?

From wiki:
-An experiment is an orderly procedure carried out with the goal of verifying, refuting, or establishing the validity of a hypothesis. Experiments provide insight into cause-and-effect by demonstrating what outcome occurs when a particular factor is manipulated.

Okay, Jake, you got me!!.....................Just for a minute I thought you were serious:rolleyes:

Please don't tell me you WERE serious.

Who covers the shipping and Insurance? I may have some generic SAK's I can part with.

Obviously you do! :)

The right way to do this is to make good friends here on the forums. I've given and received plenty of knives and related items, but it's based on friendship/honor/trust/graciousness and generosity, not simply asking for freebies.

It's kind of hard to build a collection (and in turn, give) when you don't have a lot of means (not saying that's the case) but it's easy to be a good friend and build relationships.

You can always try trading up in the exchange, but my best knives (not necessarily my most valuable) are the ones that were gifted simply because I did or said something that clicked with another member in some way. I also believe that good deeds come back to you. Being a good person in general shines through in everything you do.

Hope this works out for you in some way. ;)
