Knife under $100 with some specific needs

I know it would be out of your price range(only $50 more?)
Have you looked at Fallkniven`s new one,the FH9.
It is awesome in the "hand" and it has old-fashioned look you requested.
(A bit of a warning,it is heavier than the "modern" knives, for it`s size about double the weight?)
It`s finish and sharpness are near to custom-made.

Hm, the FH9 is a bit pricier than I want right now, but it definitely looks nice. When I move up to the $150 range, I'll definitely have to consider it.

How about the Kershaw Nakamura folder? Its a little over your $100 ceiling at around $110.

The Buck Squire or 55 might be good choices, too.

BTW: You could order a customized 110 for less than $100, too.

Great idea, the Buck 'Custom Shop'! You can get a S30V bladed, orange fujiwood, nickel silver bolstered 110 knife made for you for $86 (It'll look just like the left most 110 below.). Want no pins? Want it finger grooved? You decide! Expect 3wk-3mos delivery time - and a first rate knife. Functionally, is it better than a $27 110 from WallyWorld? Well, no... but it can have upgrade steel - and be made the way you want it!

The right two 110s below are made for certain dealers. The end one is Cabela's 'Alaskan Guide' in S30V with a blackish AlTiN coating (~$70), while the one to it's left is made for Bass Pro Shops and has a CPM154 blade (~$75). A big knife - but what beauties. Classic & traditional. They come with a belt sheath, too - which is the only part not made in the USA.

Buck 110s are just too large for how I like to carry my EDC, sadly. However, if my tastes change, those custom 110s are going to be danged hard to pass up.
