Knife used by Ray Mears?

I'd suggest getting a Koster Bushcraft for around $100. It's a very similar knife with a spear point and scandi grind. The handles dont have the same detail and flared butt, but you could easily get that done.

Dan sent me one glued up but unshaped and I gave it that shape. I bet he would do it for other folks.

Dan has some Bushcrafts in O1 in the works (which I think is what the Woodlore is made from), looks like he has 24 of them so you'd better get your name in quick if you want dibs, cause the list is filling up fast.

There are plenty of excellent bushcraft knives available quickly, from stock, and with a waranty from Bark River for a lot less. I have a small assortment, mostly in A-2 tool steel, and all with convex edges - great woods knives. Check out the Fox River, North Star, Gameskeeper, Boone, Journeyman, etc. I have bought them from both DLTTradingcompany.com and Knivesshipfree.com at good prices and gotten superior service.

Of course, I have been known to be totally happy in the woods with a Buck 110 Folding Hunter or 192 Vanguard - or an old KaBar USN 'utility knife' - so take my advice for what it cost you!
