I have two custom knives I'm thinking about selling - a Brend #2, and a Bagwell Bowie. Could someone please advise as to the best way to determine an approximate value without actually sending/taking them to someone? As a bit of background, I've had the Brend since the late '80's, and it has sap stains from chopping down a tree. I believe a new Model 2 sells for many times what I paid for this one, but I have a hard time believing one in used condition (mine) could command anywhere near the price of a new one. On the other had, I wouldn't want to stiff myself out of an honest increase in value.
