Knife website setup help needed

Actually need some suggestions on what keywords to list for the search engine crawlers. Have a custom knifemaking website all ready to go, just have not taken it live yet.
Any suggestions on content that should be included, or places to get some good keyword advice will be much appreciated!

I would suggest reading the first page of posts, maybe more, of the knives for sale forums and see what people are listing as key features or points of the knives they're selling and also note what potential buyers are asking about.

Keep geographical locations in mind, states, countries, continents, cities, etc. Most importantly, things people will search for when looking for a knife to buy and just about as important, keywords that pertain to the type of knives you want to make or sell.

There are lots of little places you can hide keywords, the more the better. Don't stop typing keywords until it says there's no more room.
 
If by keywords you mean metatags, crawlers and bots don't really use them anymore since people learned how to exploit them. Search engines work more by how many times key words are actually in the text on a page.

Also getting to the top of the page on the big search engines is not longer about relevance. You pay to be listed at the top now.
 
That makes sense...if they can make more $ why not!
Was also warned about stuffing the pages with keywords as that may lead to a search engine ban.
 
I wouldn't suggest plopping a bunch of unnecessary keywords visibly on any page, or even invisibly but there are things like mouse hover tool tips, and page descriptions that can be strategically loaded with keywords.
