Knife-wielding t.v. characters! Whose your favorite?

Tony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson. I identify with Tony's sardonic addict sense of humour, and Nigella is a delightful squeeze toy at any age.

I know it was a straight razor...

Saw Elliot Spencer on Leverage use a knife again last night. That makes several episodes where he's shown to carry a folder. Can't tell what it is, but it's assisted or auto-opening and combo edge. He's also shown to be a skilled cook, capable of using a chef's knife well too.

He also once gave a speech on how the difference between using the knife for cooking or "going through like 4 or 5 yakuza" is all in the grip.

Deunan Knute from Appleseed. Also, who can forget Worf from ST:TNG?

Not alone at all. As a kid, I used to play Rambo. That is what got me started in knives.

I vote the while SAMCRO gang. Haven't identified many yet. Jax has a KaBar. Tig has some really big Busse or similar (in terms of design), Opie has some sort of big tanto like object. They all look like real knives to me...or theatrical copies of same.

Chibs also always carries a knife, looks like a dagger if I remember correctly. "Chibs" is also Scottish slang for a knife.

I recently just started watching Longmire (like 2 days ago) and it's rather awesome. He carries and uses a Buck 110 I think, but I think it may have serrations. Not really my knife of choice, so I may be a bit off, but its something like that.

Hmm that's been popping up on my Netflix recommendations lately. maybe I'll give it a whirl. much action? drama? what's the mood of the show?

It's got a fair amount of drama, some dry wit, and pretty good action. It's the basic cop show formula, but set in rural Wyoming (though I think it's filmed in New Mexico). The scenery is gorgeous, I like the characters and their dynamic, the crimes frequently have sort of a rural taste to them. I can't say it's the greatest television show ever and it's definitely a formula police action/drama, but the characters and the scenery give it enough of a boost that I'm really enjoying it.

Yeah, definitely a 110, they were talking about this over on the Buck forum.

Opie's tanto on SoA was a Cold Steel Magnum Tanto II according to the CS website.

John Locke, haha Dwight Schrute, and most of the guys from Sons of Anarchy. Opie has his CS Magnum tanto, and Jax has his Ka-Bar. And I think Happy carried around a Tai Pan every once in a while.
