Knife with longest blade in 5" handle?

My D2, B/M 710 shows 3.75" of edge.

Large 630 B/M Skirmish, right at 4.25"

B/M 610. large Rukus, a bit less than 4.25" (in fact the tape was back a bit so it's around 4.10")

The 710 D2 I have has just a hair over 4" of edge - and it's OAL is just under 5". My 630 Skirmish is another biggy - almost 4.4" of blade edge in an OAL closed of 5.25" )Frame lock instead of AXIS lock and no lanyard hole.). Discontinued for a bit, too. A satndard Buck 110 is 4.9" OAL closed - and ~3.4" of blade edge. See below for a comparison of the three:

The 710 is a 3.9" edge with a 4.9" closed length.

And of course there's the Marbles Safety Knife -- you can carry that one in your pocket if you want.

This one has a 5" handle, and a 28" blade. I can't figure out the lock on it though. Doesn't fold very well. ;)

Thy let you carry an auto in So Cal? I thought blade limit was 2" for an auto there. In Nevada I'm technically not supposed to carry my Rogue, when I do I carry it I willcompliment it with a (soon to be coming) Leek so I will have the Leek for sheeple and the Rogue for when no sheeple are around.

Police/Fire personnel can carry/use an auto for work, IF their Dept's policy allows it.

There are some great suggestions. As I said, I already have a BM 760 LFTI that's 5" closed with a 4" blade. I find that a 5" closed length is ideal & I can still put a slippie in the same pocket (At the bottom, of course) & it works for me.

I've never had a full size Rukus, but have had the BM 630, Police 3, etc. I'm just seeing what folder has an over 4" blade length with a closed length of 5".

As far as slippies, I think my Menefee BP is as big as I'd want to pocket carry. At 4 1/8", it does pack a 3 3/8" Clip blade (Awesome slippie, BTW).

Love the sword, BTW, lol.
