Congrats to those who have signed up! I can't wait to see the knives come to life!
If you want to get a quick feel as to how your knife will feel in hand, I do the same as Elgin and make a wood copy of it.
I choose to use the larger paint stirrers from Home Depot. They tend to work Very easily, are right around 1/4" thick, and smooth out nicely with some 400 grit sand paper (use 60 or 80 and some files to shape).
