Knife World, the black and white monthly knife tabloid which we have known and (usually) loved since September 1977, is about to become the new full color KNIFE magazine, starting with the November 2015 issue.

Everyone who receives Knife World will have their subscriptions fulfilled with KNIFE Magazine. The content will be similar to Knife World, just a whole lot prettier... and this month there are 16 additional pages to enjoy -- 52 pages total, all of them in full color. Included will be my 455th monthly installment of "Whut Izzit," for the first time in color.

New subscriptions have to be in by Thursday morning, October 8, to receive the inaugural issue of Knife. Link below.

KNIFE Magazine will be offered by subscription only, $29.95 per year U.S. (12 monthly issues). It's an oversized (9.5 x 13"), full color, glossy magazine -- 50% larger than a standard magazine. A big & beautiful specialty publication for dedicated knife enthusiasts.

Will this be one of those magazines where there isn't much difference between the articles and the advertisments?

I subscribed to Knife World for over 20 years. It is the best! I'm sure it will continue to be so.

I am pleased to see this.

Looks like a solid cast of writers from the cutlery and shooting industry. I am glad to see that Bruce Voyles and Steven Dick will be involved with it.

If they really want to offer a digital subscription option. Offer it in .ePub and .PDF formats. Most of the other current knife magazines only offer .PDF so far.
