You probably know that knife- it’s one you love the idea of, love the look of, and you’re sure you could use it. You never do; always leaving it behind for another choice. What knife is that for you?

For me it’s the Opinel 12. Love everything about it, but it’s too big for day-to-day and too fidgety for camping in light of other fixed blades I enjoy. I’ll always love it though.

I love the blade shape of the Emerson Super Commander but it's just not what I'd call a practical edc knife. But it's just plain cool to look at and wave out of the pocket, then, I go back to my K390 Endura or my DLT trading company PM2 od green and black S90v blade.

It's not expensive, custom, or anything fancy. But, knowing how easily cladding scratches from past experiences, I know I need to keep the blade away from abrasive materials. I love this Slayback with that finish looking pristine. A beautiful design in my eyes.

I have 2 Hinderer Emmett's. My son Emmett was born 8 months before The Hinderer Emmett came out so it's special to me.

1 is from the very first run the vintage series which I will probably never use, hopefully my son does when I give it to him.

The second is a user that I bought and it's my favorite fixed blade that I have. I have dozens of knives I'll never use and plenty I hardly ever look at anymore but the ones I love I typically use.
