On the list to buy this year:
ZT 0808
Custom or midtech of some sort, will be a wedding gift from my wife (getting married 7/17)

Well like any addiction it's a strain. I've overdrafted my checking account by $22. No fee yet because there are two transactions still pending. They just happen to be PayPal for purchases on the exchange. LOL
I can avoid a fee if I deposit before they clear. Leaving me with $25 for the next 8 days. LOL
I guess I'll look through my knives and see what I can sell tonight.
Ugh

Hey, at least I'll have 3 months no drinking or smoking on Friday the 13th.

WoW the vitriol and mob mentality of that one thread could drive ya to drink.
I feel good after paying for two beautiful knives this morning. Should have them by Saturday

Three month cravings. Kind of like an extreme low carb diet. Felt better after throwing $110 at a Spyderco S. The amount of money doesn't matter. LOL

4 months on the 13th.

You sure you weren't drunk when you bought that "thing"?:D
Just messing with you. Congratulations, life (and your knife collection) just keeps getting better and better, and the cravings will go away.

I just scored myself.

One thing about knives is that you can sharpen them if they get dull.

You can KEEP them, continue to buy them, gift them or sell them. Some people trade knives from what I gather too.

Example here:

When you are or were a HIGH volume shooter and if you shoot or shot various firearm calibers... you have to buy RF ammunition if you shoot RF at all, you reload or buy your factory CF ammunition and/or shotgun ammunition if you shoot shotguns. So even if you only shoot specific - limited calibers and no longer shoot several or many calibers - you have to FEED the firearm or it will end up being a club in the end. Many shooters, not us, were caught short handed during the last 3 years. I did NOT hear one knife man or knife woman complain about 'shortages' - fake or real. (Disclaimer: I do not reload ammunition but my husband has for over 40 years now.)

Knives do not need 'feeding' to get them to WORK. MOST states and countries accept knives even in some places that people like to complain about.

Knives can be used in specific professions, for sport, for hunting/fishing, for survival, for cooking and for many other things in life.

I can't answer about being addicted to food, smoking, drinking, etc. but for those of you who are solving your problems in life... I commend you and I sincerely wish all of you well.

I like the man's comments in this thread about his tennis shoes/sneakers and his knives. It was a good one! Thank you.

Knives are less expensive than many things in life.

Moderation in ALL things in life if you need to watch your budget and even if you do not need to watch it is my motto in life. Your mileage may vary.

Many of you have beautiful collections in all TYPES of knives. Many of you here and all over this forum are talented in your knife making too. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend.

Well I lapsed again. My budget is squeaky tight after the damn divorce. So I bought a copper pen for $110 to satisfy my addiction, but I've been craving a Paramilitary. Watching searching. Dismissing rediculous overpriced PM2s in CTS XHP, and browsing in stock. I stumbled on a PM2 mod for $100 and snatched! Ugh
