Sorry to double up, but I didn't want to clutter, but I figure I should post a review..

Most sales I have done have been second hand, but I have bought two knives new.

The first was Fort Henry. I bought a new knife that I was a week or two from paying off so I did the layaway option he permits. Because of the delay (first and final payment) I got to interact with both he and his wife, and I cannot commend them more highly for professionalism, courtesy, promptness, or desire for customer satisfaction.

The second is KnifeArt. I notice there's a pretty harsh thread on them here. I don't know about what happened with those people so I can't speak to that. I can only talk about my experience. I bought a Sebenza late Saturday night and then emailed asking about specific birthdays (e.g. please look for X date; if not, ignore this email). I got an email back saying that they had no luck (the date was this month—so an obvious long shot), but I also got an order shipping confirmation the same day they emailed me, Monday. (Glad they take Sunday off, and it wasnt urgent!) package shipped Monday (next business day) and arrived today, Wednesday. Sweet!

Thanks both of you guys.

Have to agree that Vince was very helpful with my purchases. Completely recommend doing business with him and his wife. They are great! Though you got to be quick as those knives are gone in an instant because he gets some really high demand custom items there. :)

Vince is a fantastic gentleman to work with, top notch!!
I have only had one experience with KnifeArt and it was good.
