Was thinking of making a purchase from their web site.

I sent them an e-mail about 2 weeks ago requesting some info but still no reply.

Has anyone used knifeart to make a purchase.

No, I have not used them but jumped into the thread because I met the guy who runs KnifeArt at Arno Bernards table at the Blade Show. (I cannot remember his name right now)

He seemed to be a great guy and bought almost half of Arno's table without even picking them up. He took the time to tell me what he thought of Arno's knives and recommended them while Arno was sorting out the sheaths. (I bought two!) He seemed like a great guy and may just not be caught up yet.

I have purchased several knives from Larry at Knifeart.com. His establishment ranks among the top 5 of all the internet knife dealers that cater towards the custom knife crowd. He was probably at the Bladeshow and is in the process of updating the site.

I've also bought several knives from Larry over the past year. I've never had any problems. After my last purchase I called requesting information on a future purchase. Larry took about 10-15 minutes and provided me with lots of information. He even gave me contact information for a maker that he does not stock. Highly recommended!!!

I have never bought from Knifeart but I did get the chance to talk to Larry at the Blade Show and he seems like a great guy. Shoot him another email. I am sure he is just swamped from being away from his computer for a few days and you know how emails can get lost in the shuffle. I will definitely be ordering from him soon.

About a month ago I ordered a strop and some sharpening stones from Knifeart.com. I received the package Priority Mail on time but without the strop. In it's place was a v-rod ceramic sharpening system. I called them back, received an apology for an honest mistake, and got the strop sent Priority Mail for free. Oh....and I got to keep the ceramic sharpening sticks

. I was pleased to say the least. I'd say give him another call or get an email off to him. Larry was a pleasure to deal with and I'm sure he'll try to make things right for you.
