This is my first time ordering from KnifeCenter. I placed an order on Jan 20 with KnifeCenter.com. The item I ordered stated in big letters "Typically ships within 1-2 weeks." That's fine- it is the knife I want. The confirmation e mail even said my CC will be charged when the item ships.

Fast forward 2 days- Jan 22. I received an email --

Thank you for ordering from KnifeCenter.com.
We wanted to let you know that your order has shipped! Please keep a copy of this invoice for your records.

OUTSTANDING!!! :thumbup: :D :thumbup:

I purchased this knife expecting to wait 2 weeks--it will be here Saturday! Thank you KnifeCenter.
 
I think that this is common knowledge, but in case it isn't I'll add my overwhelmingly positive opinion of KnifeCenter. They have great prices, great selection and great customer service.
 
I wonder if it is supposed to say usually ships within one to two days ? One to two weeks seems a little excessive, unless it is out of stock.
 
I ordered a Condor Crotalus. Made in El Salvador. It is "hard to find" in stock anywere. The other knife I was looking at said "in sock".

I'd guess out of stock.
 
My only beef with Knifecenter.com . . . and it's a small one . . . is that they open up preorders on knives that have notoriously long wait times before anyone else does. A perfect example of that are the new ZT releases. I'd prefer if they'd wait until knives with long wait times get closer to their release dates like others do in order to keep their customers' frustration level down. But if Knifecenter has knives in stock or indicates that they're expecting to receive them in a reasonable time frame (e.g., a week or two), they are spot on! :thumbup: :)

Wish they'd stayed in Md. They're a longer drive if I want to stop by and now gotta pay sales tax being in state.

Well - you should be all set then! It won't take too long to reduce that jersey to unrecognizable ribbons!

Seriously, though - I have used knifecenter and they ROCK!
