The coolest thing Kerry told me about the knife is that the scratches on the blade are natural to the steel, and not manmade. I think that's pretty neat.
You're talking about the "worm tracks" or dark lines in the Wharncliffe blade. Those aren't scratches but is a pattern that showed up in the blade after I etched it. I think it is carbon from the HT process but I am guessing. Whatever it is, it is in the steel and what can ya do. It'll still cut I reccon,
