Well I just spoke to Robbie at KnifeKits.com and he was kind enough to give me the centre to centre length on the mounting points of a couple clips that are missing that info on their pages. I'll have to do some measuring and see if I can get any of the ones I want to work on the knives I have in mind. He was very friendly and helpful but whether or not they do update their site info with those details remains to be seen. I hope they do because it'll only help everyone.
Sure, send them a link if you want. I think that'd be a great idea for them to monitor these forums. These days with the existence of forums for almost any product or hobby you can imagine you're seriously missing out as a manufacturer or seller of products if you're not monitoring or actively participating in those forums. Along with phone and email communication I'd have forum participation be part of the job description of my customer service people. I'd also have Customer Service sending me weekly summaries of all links they've posted in or monitored that had relevance to our product, and I'd chime in as required. Of the forums I participate in, Sal Glesser from Spyderco, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin from ESEE, Rick Hinderer from Hinderer Knives and Timothy from Kershaw/ZT are regular participants and are taking advantage of the opportunity to interact directly with their buyers. That spells win-win to me for everyone involved.
Anyhow, I digress, sorry for derailing momentarily. Carry on!
