Have any of you used it before? I really want to get into knife making. Im considering the assisted opening knife they have. Its only like 16 dollars and i figure it would be a good start... Do you feel its a reputable place? I also want to buy moonglow scales for the knives I want to make. Where is a good place to buy it?

Ive only been using sheet metal from my dads and my project working on his '66 Fastback... Im hoping to get money sometime, seeing as how im in college and no money is coming in.. and my parents arent making much either :(... But anyway is there a good place i can go to start making knives?

Also, i am very good at working with photoshop and various programs with designing websites, id be more than happy to help advertise your custom knives if you need it.

Thank you,
Andrew

Cant speak for their knife kits quality, but I just ordered 150 dollars worth of kydex and fittings which shipped to Canada in a week. Very well packaged, value marked down to avoid taxes, good service. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. So their certainly reputable, good prices, and good stock.

Have had good luck ordering folder parts from knifekits. Quality parts and prompt shipping.

thanks so much for the info! i think the assist knife would be a good starter.. there was a wooden knife but i want one that would actually cut rather than just wooden.. maybe after the assist ill make it.. or if i really just wanna get a kit ill order it.. anyone use that one? the all wooden knife kit...

yeah they seem to be divided almost perfectly into "family" owned buisness, industrial catolouge w/ everything under the sun, and comercial websits with lotsa stuff too

anybody know of anything else, love to update my list can never have too many sources

Pop is good folk. He and his wife run the business and have great customer service, kind of like Tracy. I buy certain brands of belts and some steel from Pop.
