Well, if you have to rule out ANYTHING that could be considered a weapon by a "normal" person, then I tend to go to tech stuff... camera gear, computers, software. You could get a new MacPro laptop :D... or an iPod... or a Canon 20D... I could go on and on...

Surefires are cool too... all camping gear is good... tools to build weapons (if that skirts the embargo on weapons or weapon related equipment)...

Good luck... do tell us what you decide on.

o better rucksack/backpack for "trips" to the woods :) - actually, i need something like that, that can resist punctures from kukri sheaths, and allow me to carry hidden (not concealed) to avoid freaking the sheeples...
