Well, if you have to rule out ANYTHING that could be considered a weapon by a "normal" person, then I tend to go to tech stuff... camera gear, computers, software. You could get a new MacPro laptop ... or an iPod... or a Canon 20D... I could go on and on...

Surefires are cool too... all camping gear is good... tools to build weapons (if that skirts the embargo on weapons or weapon related equipment)...

Good luck... do tell us what you decide on.
