Is anyone here familiar with the work of a California knifemaker named Al Steinberg? I believe that he has passed on now. He was from San Bruno, Ca. and Laguna Woods.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks.

The reason I ask is that I have one of his blades. This is a lightweight Bowie. 6 3/8" blade, brass guard and stag handle.

I recently acquired a knife from this same maker. Any info available as to rarity, values, etc would be welcomed.
