Guys,

I always wanted to have a sandblaster.
What minimal sandblasting setup knifemaker would need?
How much approximately it'll cost?

Thanks,
Alex

I got mine from Harbor Freight. It was $100, and leaked like a sieve. I caulked all the joints and glued cloth over the "extra" holes, so now it does pretty good. It's run by a 20 CFM air compressor, and I wouldn't want anything smaller.
Mine was one of the bigger ones they had, but if you're looking for minimal equipment, they do have smaller ones.

I used a siphon gun for years. Stick the hose in the sand and blast away. Jus tbe sure to wear the proper protection. I now have a bead blaster also from HF. I still use the siphom gun when i want to get agressive.
